Packaging and parcels through the lens of ecology

Pollution is one of the major problems facing mankind at the moment, and we all feel its impact. Caring for the environment is an important part of what we do, we are careful every day in our work to be as eco-friendly as possible. 

Obtaining Ecocert Cosmos organic certification and Ecocert organic certification, among the most prestigious in our field of activity, includes ensuring standards in the production, packaging and collection process.

Choosing responsibly the containers in which products are bottled and packaged. The types of containers used are: Glass, HDPE and PET.

The main advantage of glass containers is that they can be easily sanitised and then reused by yourself or placed in dedicated containers.

HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) containers are another good choice as they ensure the strength and safe delivery of the product, protect it from UV rays and thanks to their superior production process, they are easy to recycle and one product can go through several production cycles.

PET containers have similar qualities. They are 100% recyclable, with the advantage of being impermeable to aromatic molecules, and the energy cost of the production process is 40% lower than for ordinary plastic.

Environmentally responsible consumption - we attach particular importance to the packaging and delivery process.

A parcel with a damaged or even spilt product in it is an inconvenience for you and for us. Most incidents of this kind occur when the parcel is in the custody of the courier companies, which is beyond our control. That's why we try to protect the products in our parcels as well as possible, while being careful about the materials used.

The box we use is made of cardboard and the protective wrapping is made of recycled cardboard shredded by us. Another material used to protect products that are more fragile is bubble wrap, all the components of the parcel are 100% recyclable.

We minimise as much as possible and use only reusable or recyclable packaging. 

We do all this because we like to ensure that our products have the smallest possible carbon footprint on the environment. 

We wish the recycling process to be complete, and that the efforts made are not in vain. That's why we encourage you to make sure that once you have received your order and used our products, you dispose of the containers and other materials in your parcel in separate waste collection centres or use them in environmentally friendly ways.
